A position is available in the WNPRC Electronic Health Record (EHR) Services Unit. The EHR Services Unit is responsible for the ongoing development, support and maintenance of the WNPRC's Electronic Health Record (EHR) application. EHR is a web application built as custom Java modules for LabKey (https://www.labkey.org) using PostgreSQL for data persistence. EHR houses a wide array of information, such as animal health records, research data, research protocol information, and employee training records. EHR is utilized by faculty, staff, and researchers both within and outside of the UW-Madison to gather data for research purposes. Additionally, EHR is utilized by WNPRC staff, including veterinarians, researchers, and care staff, to assist in the day-to-day care of the animals.
