The Learning Technology Consultant serves a liaison between the UW-Madison campus community and the many services provided by Academic Technology. In particular, this position serves the UW-Madison instructional community - a diverse, interdisciplinary community of departments, programs, centers, and institutes - with a variety of pedagogical, organizational and technological skills, including (but are not limited to) the design and delivery of effective teaching and learning, strong collaborative and communication skills, an enthusiastic curiosity for emerging technologies, and an overall desire to use these abilities for the continued improvement of the campus community. This position's focus is on providing consultative and end-user support around the use of UW-Madison's custom integrated content authoring (Pressbooks) and learning data collection (Learning Locker learning record store) tools, as well as developing and managing communities of practice around the use of these technologies on campus.
LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR DOIT/AT/MADISONELEARNING Madison
The Learning Technologies Systems Administrator serves the teaching and learning mission of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This position supports the use of UW-Madison's centrally supported electronic content authoring (Pressbooks), learning data collection (Learning Locker), and eText reader (Unizin Engage and other publisher integrated learning systems) tools by providing application administration for the tools including configuration, user provisioning, quality assurance, user support, integration management, and internal process improvement. In addition, this position provides ancillary administration and user support for the Canvas learning management system (LMS) as well as other learning technologies supported by Learn@UW Madison, such as Kaltura MediaSpace, BlackBoard Collaborate web conferencing software and the AEFIS course evaluation and assessment tool.
