Advertised Salary:

Minimum $43,000 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and area of specialization:

Minimum Bachelor's degree required in education, social science, business, or related field.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Required:
* Two years of successful project management experience
* Capacity to work in diverse populations
* Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven capacity to translate complex ideas into clear prose
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently or collaborate in a team setting

Preferred:
* Experience working within an international school system or other global education context
* Experience in the assessment and instruction of English Language Learners
* Experience with state agencies and school districts
* Experience working with a startup program

Position Summary:

The Wisconsin Center for Education Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is home to the WIDA Consortium (wida.us), the national leader in the development of preK-12 English Language Development standards and assessments. WIDA is also committed to designing and delivering standards, assessments, professional learning, and research for PreK-12 educators and students in international contexts. Under the supervision of the International Programs Director, this position will play an important role in helping manage, create and implement academic language development systems for international educators.
