Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelor's degree required. Focus of study in a relevant field such as, but not limited to, biological sciences, psychology, sociology, social work, or health care-related field preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Previous work experience in customer service strongly preferred. Previous experience in a health care or research setting preferred.

Title prefix determined based on candidates years of relevant professional work experience.

Position Summary:

The Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) conducts research in the field of aging and dementia, and seeks to establish effective prevention, treatment, and diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. A research specialist is needed to coordinate neuroimaging research studies involving cognitively healthy adults and those with memory impairment. Studies may include working with military Veterans. This position will work in the lab of Dr. Sterling Johnson. The incumbent will work under the direction of the Neuroimaging Research Manager, and with a team of study coordinators that manage a large portfolio of research studies.
