Job Summary:

The position is involved in multiple aspects of small animal care, including feeding, watering, and regulating the environment of experimental research animals in accord with NIH guidelines. The position is responsible for keeping animal rooms, cages, and related equipment clean, well-maintained, and available for use by researchers and lab helpers to insure overall quality in animal care. This position requires frequent bending, twisting, and reaching, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements:

English Proficiency Required - This position requires one or more of the following abilities: ability to speak, read, write, and/or understand verbal instructions in English

Additional Requirements:

A Criminal Background Check with be conducted.

Schedule Comment:

6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional work required on weekends and holidays.

Individuals interested in providing quality care for research animals and those able to meet the requirement of working a 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday schedule are encouraged to apply.
