Advertised Salary:

Minimum $55,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:

Minimum Bachelor's degree required, in education, social science, business, or related field preferred. MA in related field preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Required:
* Successful project management experience working in a business or academic setting.
* Experience using project management tools or software.
* Demonstrated ability working with diverse populations.
* Experience serving as a member of collaborative multi-discipline teams responsible for implementing cross-departmental.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven capacity to translate complex ideas into clear prose.
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.

Preferred:
* Experience managing large and complex projects, preferably revenue generating projects.
* Experience with Microsoft Project and/or SharePoint.
* Project Management certification or similar training.
* Experience leading implementation projects for new operational system.

Position Summary:

WIDA, an organization within the University of Wisconsin-Madison Wisconsin Center for Education Research, provides trusted tools and resources for educators of language learners Pre-K through Grade 12 (www.wida.us). The Project Manager Position will be a member of WIDA's Project Management Office and will be responsible for developing and implementing a new centralized system to track and monitor projects from initiation to completion as a primary, on-going operational activity. In addition, this position will serve as the project manager for large-scale, cross functional initiatives requiring an experienced project manager.
