Degree and area of specialization:

Candidates must have a Pharm.D. or advanced clinical degree.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency with at least one year experience post residency or equivalent clinical practice or academic experience. Fellowship and/or graduate degree preferable.

License or Certificate:

Must be eligible for Wisconsin licensure as a pharmacist.

Position Summary:

This clinical faculty position is available in the Pharmacy Practice Division of the School of Pharmacy. The successful candidate will teach in the School's professional pharmacy programs, establish a sustained program of publishable scholarly work, and develop a limited clinical practice that is complementary to the individual's scholarship and/or teaching. All practice and research interests will be considered; however, individuals with expertise and research interests in biostatistics, evidence-based medicine, clinical health informatics, and experiential education are especially encouraged to apply. This individual will be involved with preceptor development and continuous quality improvement within the experiential education program.

The world headquarters of the EPIC electronic medical records corporation are located 10 miles from the School of Pharmacy.

The School of Pharmacy also hosts vibrant graduate student programs and an undergraduate degree program in Pharmacology and Toxicology.
