Minimum $48,333 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in business administration, communications, corporate relations or related field. Master's preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

- Minimum of 5 years professional work experience aiding and supporting leadership to implement both small and large scale priorities. Experience in higher education preferred.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining sustainable relationships with internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated experience working on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent administrative and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with other and promote a sense of community.

Position Summary:

The Manager, Special Projects plays a key role in supporting and acting as a strategic partner to the Dean of Continuing Studies and Vice Provost of Lifelong Learning. The person in this position must be highly organized, an excellent communicator, and have an ability to assess and addresses sensitive issues as they come up. These skills are essential in order to be successful in the Division's fast paced and changing environment. The key duties of this role include; oversight and monitoring of strategic initiatives that are coming out of the Dean's office and keeping the Dean up to date on these projects and initiatives; prepare and research correspondence for the Dean; work with the Dean to manage flow of work; other administrative duties that support the Dean and the Dean's office.
