Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:

Masters degree or equivalent in relevant discipline required. Specialization in evaluation research, educational research, quality improvement, health services research, organizational sociology and/or related field is preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

2 years of successful and relevant experience is preferred.

Preferred individuals will have the following qualities:

Substantive interest in and expertise applicable to evaluation of complex university research, training and infrastructure programs, application of program evaluation methods, and organizational system analysis. Skills in both qualitative and quantitative evaluation (mixed methods).

Strong interest in and demonstrated success in evaluation and applied research, particularly in the area of clinical translational research, research career development, and community and population health.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interacting with multiple academic and community-based constituencies.

Strong analytical and writing skills, with a foundation in the full range of program evaluation methods.

License or Certificate:


Position Summary:

The ICTR Evaluation researcher will collaborate in evaluation activities for the UW Institute for Clinical Translational Research (ICTR), funded by a Clinical Translational Science Award (CTSA) from the National Institutes of Health. The incumbent will join a small team of evaluation specialists working on projects designed to evaluate the impact of the Institute.

Additional Information:

This is currently considered a terminal appointment with appointment end date of 06/30/2019 but the position could be extended to a later date or potentially converted to a renewable position as the situation allows.
