Job Summary:

The Emergency Department Research Enroller Program in the SMPH Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a qualified individual (or individuals) to act as a research and administrative assistant on current/future research initiatives. This position is under the guidance of Director Dr. Manish Shah, Associate Director Dr. Brian Patterson, and Supervisor Rebecca Schwei, MPH. The role includes (but is not limited to) participant recruitment, participant surveys, data collection, data entry, tracking study participants, study materials preparation, and administrative functions.

Candidates will be expected to:
- Provide recruitment support for various research studies
- Be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a quick learner
- Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain effective professional relationships with supervisor, co-workers, research investigators, research study participants, and clinic staff
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Uphold integrity of research protocols and procedures including informed consent process

Additional Requirements:

Study design and data collection experience preferred.
Documented experience working as part of professional teams.
Data management experience preferred.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Schedule Comment:

Must be able to work nights and weekends. Schedule determined by the needs of the research team. Position may be 40-75% FTE (16 to 30 hours per week).
