Job Summary:

The Graduate Program Assistant supports the Graduate Program Coordinator in managing the admissions process for the traditional master’s and PhD programs in the Department of Computer Sciences. This position accepts and reviews applications and related materials, and responds to requests for information regarding the policies and procedures related to admission to the graduate program. This position performs admissions transactions using the New Applicant Review System and CS Admissions database and performs various queries using Access and the Query Library. The position keeps data in a relational database and prepares reports during and after the admissions process from that data. In addition, this position assists the Graduate Program Coordinator with administrative duties for current students in the traditional graduate program, and with event planning for graduate students.
