Minimum $36,790 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred with specialization in college student personnel, higher education, educational leadership, counseling, or a related field.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

At least three years of professional experience in academic affairs, academic/career advising, student services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in a clinical and/or health sciences academic discipline is desired but not required.

Position Summary:

This position plays a key role within the advising and student services team in the School of Nursing's Office of Academic Affairs. The team provides comprehensive advising and student services to pre-nursing and undergraduate and graduate nursing students, as well as other students considering nursing as an academic program. This position has primary responsibilities for academic advising, admissions, and program planning for the BSN@Home program. This is a part-time position which demands a high level of collaboration, coordination and organization, effective communication skills particularly with diverse populations, skills in problem solving, and public speaking.
