Degree and area of specialization:

M.A. in Education or related field, Ph.D. preferred

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Required:

* Minimum of eight years of experience working as a culturally responsive program evaluator, preferably in the fields of education and/or social services.

*Training and knowledge in principles and foundations of program evaluation and specifically Culturally Responsive Evaluation.

* Experience leading large evaluation projects, including developing a scope of work, managing budgets, and producing deliverables to clients in a timely fashion.


Preferred:

* Experience working with indigenous communities.

*Bilingualism.

License or Certificate:

 

Position Summary:

The Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER) at the University of Wisconsin Madison's highly ranked public School of Education is one of the first and most productive education research centers in the world. It has assisted scholars and practitioners develop, submit, conduct and share grant-funded education research for more than 50 years.

The Culturally Responsive Evaluation Specialist will assist in providing clients and partners of the Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative (WEC) and Wisconsin Center for Education Research consultation, technical assistance and training on program evaluation needs, specifically drawing from Culturally Responsive Evaluation frameworks. This position will work with Principal Investigators (PIs) and other researchers and evaluators in WEC and WCER.
