Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the incumbent will provide administrative program support to the Director and faculty of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division (REI) within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology The medical program assistant will provide support for teaching, research, service, outreach and other activities, as well as providing the support necessary to the coordination of patient provider services.

The incumbent is expected to communicate effectively and confidentially with all faculty and staff across the organization, patients, residents, fellows, and program leaders. This position requires a person who can function independently with general supervision as well as with a team to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency of the program.

The candidate must have excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills, ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks, knowledge of the organization and of complex procedures and regulations regarding patient confidentiality, University policy and procedures as well as the ability to exercise good judgment.

The position functions under limited supervision and reports to the Program Assistant Supervisor.
