Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in the arts, humanities or related field.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Familiarity with academic programs and resources on a college campus.
Previous experience working with college students of diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.

Position Summary:

The Studio Program Coordinator provides intellectual, programmatic, and organizational direction and support to students living in the learning community. The Studio is a creative arts learning community of 64 undergraduate students located in Sellery Hall at UW-Madison. The Studio is a place for students to create, innovate, and bring to life their boldest imagination. Founded in Fall 2012, The Studio is one of ten residential learning communities, with students ranging in majors from the visual and performing arts to engineering and computer science. Equipped with a music and performance space, a digital creative lab, and visual art and community space, The Studio provides a tight-knit community, unique physical spaces, curricular and co-curricular events to help students explore their creative process.
