Advertised Salary:

Minimum $70,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelor's or Master's degree required in instructional or education design/technology.

Master's candidates are required to have 3+ years related instructional design experience and bachelor's candidates are required to have 5+ years related instructional design experience.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

* Minimum 3 years of formal people management experience in an instructional design, e-learning, or related setting.
* Demonstrated skills and experience providing excellent service to internal and external clients/customers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of learning theories, instructional design theories, instruction systems. Understanding and demonstrated application of sound pedagogy and andragogy instructional design practices.
* Intermediate to advanced skills in selection, implementation, maintenance and support of technology based eLearning solutions
* Demonstrated leadership in working within teams to analyze and improve instructional design process and eLearning delivery platforms
* Intermediate to advanced skills with CANVAS, H5P and/or Articulate as well as intermediate skills with web development and design (HTML/HTML5 , CSS).
* Prior experience and/or knowledge of pre-K-12 ESL education preferred.

Position Summary:

WIDA, an organization within the University of Wisconsin-Madison Wisconsin Center for Education Research, provides trusted tools and resources for educators of multilingual learners Pre-K through Grade 12 (wida.wisc.edu). WIDA is looking for an innovation driven instructional design manager to oversee the work of a team of professionals who design and develop online or blended e-learning modules for pre K-12 educators serving multilingual Learners.
