The Division of Recreational Sports at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a dynamic, energetic, goal-oriented, and innovative leader within the field of higher education and collegiate recreation. The Coordinator of Scheduling & Special Events is a full-time employee under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Scheduling & Special Events. This person is responsible for the scheduling of all indoor and outdoor facilities, contracting and managing events. S/he will oversee the creation of a special event student staff with the opening of new facilities; including, but not limited to, hiring, training, development, scheduling and evaluating student employees. S/he will assist the Assistant Director of Scheduling & Special Events with the development of the annual budget. S/he works directly with professional and student staff to plan and coordinate activities and assess problems and develop solutions.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM ASSOCIATE WSLH\ENVIRN SC\WET CHEMISTRY Madison
This position independently provides a wide variety of program support to administrative, supervisory and support services at the Agriculture Drive laboratories of the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH). Primary responsibilities include: providing a broad range of knowledge regarding water sampling and testing to effectively meet the needs of customers; look up results for customers; interpret results and make decisions that directly affect the general public based upon the rules and policies mandated by the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act Program (SDWA) and the WDNR; enter data into a laboratory information management system (LIMS) and use the system to track samples, reports and customer information; a wide range of other duties as needed, including: copying, scanning, faxing and filing.

This position is critical to DDEEA Divisional and PEOPLE Staff. This position reports directly to the DDEEA Accountant. This position provides confidential, administrative and paraprofessional support and work of considerable complexity. This position is responsible for assisting the PEOPLE staff within DDEEA with financial and general business services as well as assist with administrative/office management. This position acts as liaison between the DDEEA staff, PEOPLE, and many others University departments and schools and colleges to serve financial, business services, and administrative needs. This position is performed under general supervision and direction; presents, recommends, and works with the Accountant and Human Resources/Business Services Team Manager and the administrative/business services team to implement procedures and policies related to financial, business services, and related program areas.
