The Wisconsin Surgical Outcomes Research Program (WiSOR), a vibrant, interdisciplinary, multi-investigator research program within the Department of Surgery, is seeking a programmer to join our rapidly growing program. The selected candidate for this position will serve as a key member of the research staff for the Wisconsin Surgical Outcomes Research Program (WiSOR). The immediate program needs for this position involve qualitative research and project management of a large multisite study. The Researcher will assist WiSOR investigators in a variety of research areas, including coordination of research teams and research projects as well as execution of research.
RESEARCH TECHNICIAN VET M/SURGICAL SCIENCES Madison
The research enterprise in the Department of Surgical Sciences includes both clinical and basic science research by multidisciplinary research groups. This position is housed within the Comparative Orthopaedic and Genetics Research Laboratory, but provides support to all faculty in the department. The Comparative Orthopaedic and Genetics Research Laboratory is located in the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Outside of the School, the laboratory has a long history of strong collaborative relationships with investigators in the School of Medicine, the College of Engineering, and data science researchers in several departments across campus, as well as collaborations with other institutions and corporate entities. Financial support for this position includes service revenue that is largely derived from provision of calcified tissue histology research services to research groups outside of the UW Madison campus.
