This position requires excellent administrative, organizational, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills in order to carry out the duties set forth in assisting the Chair and specific Vice Chairs of Dermatology at the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH). This position requires coordination of complex daily academic, clinical, administrative, and research activities. RESEARCH SPECIALIST - GAMM LABORATORY VCRGE/WAISMAN/WAISMAN Madison
The Gamm Lab at the Waisman Center is seeking a Research Specialist to provide technical assistance related to human embryonic (ES) and induced pluripotent (iPS) cells for a research project aimed to use retinal lineage cells derived from these pluripotent sources to model several types of Retinitis Pigmentosa. The ideal candidate will have experience in biological sciences research, experience with cell culture and/or tissue culture of mammalian cells, human stem cells and/or retinal cells, experience in molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, RNA Isolation, etc.) and any of the following: tissue sectioning, immunocytochemistry and microscopy.
FACILITY DESIGNER ENGR/BUILDING SERVICES Madison
The College of Engineering (CoE) is looking for a Facility Planner to assist with facility planning and management.
