The Research Specialist will be responsible for scientific integrity of data collection, data processing, and participant screening and scheduling for the longitudinal Midlife in the United States (MIDUS) study and a comparative study collecting similar measures in a cohort from the Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer’s Prevention (WRAP). MIDUS is a national longitudinal study of health and well-being. The primary purpose of this component of the MIDUS study is to examine how individual differences in the neural bases of different emotional response styles relate to health and well-being throughout the lifespan. The main goal of the study in the WRAP sample is to understand how different emotional response styles may increase a person's risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.
