TECHNICAL OPERATIONS PROJECT MANAGER summary: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Center for Health Disparities Research (CHDR) Data Operations team to help provide technical project management and strategic guidance for data-driven projects and operational development. This position will be an integral member of a team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts that work with a variety of programming languages including Python, R, SQL, MATLAB; neuroimaging tools such as FSL, Freesurfer, and MRICron; geospatial tools such as ArcGIS; and Microsoft Azure cloud-based technologies. This individual will provide essential support in planning projects and setting milestones, assessing needs and balancing priorities in alignment with center goals, triaging issues and proposing alternatives, and communicating technical concepts to a broad audience. As such, the ideal candidate for this position will possess technical understanding and/or experience in one or more of the following conceptual areas: data science, data engineering/warehousing, computer science, cybersecurity, and research data management.
