The work is conducted under highly technical conditions and the Operations Team is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to support the Institute. The position will support laboratory operations, building maintenance, equipment procurement and inventory, plus supporting BSL3 activities including equipment oversight. Some of these activities may require work in BSL3 laboratories at the IRI. The individual in this position must have their own transportation, be able to lift 50 pounds, be willing to be on-call and have good communication skills with a willingness to support a research team environment.
