The Division of Geriatrics at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health seeks clinician-scientist candidates for a new tenure-track Assistant Professor position, to focus on developing an Alzheimer's Disease care research and/or Health Services research program dedicated to the dementia and aging adult population. In addition to research, the position will include clinical care responsibilities within programs focused on the older adult population, as well as teaching responsibilities, both within the context of clinical practice and in the classroom setting or through mentorship of students and trainees. The new faculty member will be encouraged to collaborate with faculty across the university, including Dr. Amy Kind and other colleagues in the UW Health Services and Care Research (HSCR) Program. |

We perform, on average, 330 kidney, 110 liver, and 56 pancreas transplants per year. The UW Health Transplant Center has an established partnership with American Family Children's Hospital to perform pediatric liver and kidney transplants. The UW Health Transplant Center program also has an established affiliated partnership with the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital to perform liver transplants on U.S. Veterans. |
