Candidates for Associate or full Professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for Clinical or CHS track.

Eligible for Wisconsin medical license. Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
Position Summary:
UW Health Division of Hospital Medicine seeks qualified candidates (MD or DO or equivalent) in Internal Medicine for clinical faculty positions at University of Wisconsin Hospital and UW Hospital at The American Center, our newest facility. Candidates must be eligible for a Wisconsin medical license and BE/BC in Internal Medicine. Primary duties include clinical patient care and clinical teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. The incumbent will be expected to provide clinical patient care, admitting and managing hospital inpatients, including serving as staff to pre-op evaluation clinic, post-discharge rapid follow-up clinic. The incumbent will also provide medical consultation within the hospital; teach residents, medical students, fellows in relation to patients on the hospitalist service and participate in system-wide quality improvement projects at UW Health approved locations. Opportunities for research may be available for interested candidates.
