Position Summary:

Teach for the Chicana/o & Latina/o Studies during the Fall 2019 and/or Spring 2020 term. The position will teach one or more of the following courses:
- CHICLA 201, 'Introduction to Chicana/o & Latina/o Studies' - 8/19/19 - 1/2/2020 and 1/3/2020 - 5/17/2020
- CHICLA 330, 'Topics in Chicana/o & Latina/o Studies' - 1/3/2020 - 5/17/2020

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Masters degree required. Ph.D or Ph.D candidate preferred in ethnic studies or related field with a specialization in Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Previous college/university teaching preferred.

There is a possibility this position can be extended in subsequent semesters to teach one or more course(s) listed on this PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.



Work Type:

Full or Part Time: 33.3% - 100%

Appointment Type, Duration:

Terminal, 9 month appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding


Minimum $41,298 ACADEMIC (9 months)
