We are recruiting an exceptional, board-eligible or certified Pediatric Surgeon to join our dynamic Division of Pediatric Surgery. This individual will join an active Pediatric Surgery practice with Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI one seven-day block per month. We are looking for candidates with a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence. The department provides a robust infrastructure of services. Be an active division faculty member with primary clinical practice responsibilities at Gundersen Health System (GHS) in La Crosse, WI. Develop and enhance an existing pediatric surgery program serving the patients and families of the La Crosse region while facilitating a seamless connection between the GHS and UW Health-American Family Children's Hospital (AFCH) campus in Madison for tertiary and quaternary care. Clinical responsibilities will generally include clinic, elective OR, ED and inpatient call services. The incumbent will provide services at Gundersen Health System one seven-day block per month.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
MD is required. Additional training in Pediatric Surgery is required.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
Candidates must possess clinical credentials sufficient for appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank. Appointment as associate professor or full professor will require that candidate's credentials meet criteria for rank established by UW School of Medicine and Public Health Guidelines.
License or Certificate:
Candidate is required to have or be eligible for a Wisconsin Medical License. Board Certification in Surgery through the American Board of Surgery or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery or equivalent. Must be eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges
