Job Summary:

The CHR&R Co-Director will manage and lead the communications, outreach, engagement and dissemination of CHR&R assets, including the model, measures, population health and equity research and policy analysis, guidance, and stories that our team produces. This position will represent CHR&R in regional and national forums, including serving as a highly visible spokesperson such as in national broadcast interviews or as a speaker at major conferences and convenings.

PhD or other terminal degree, or a degree at least one level above the level of instruction, or otherwise approved as qualified by the Dean


-At least 6 years of exceptional management and/or leadership of large, complex research projects
-Strong knowledge of population health and equity research and policy analysis
-Exceptional written and oral communication skills
-Demonstrated experience fostering strong relationships with colleagues, collaborators, consultants, and other partners
-Proficient in managing multiple, complex, concurrent projects, monitoring budgets, and meeting deadlines with competing demands in a fast-paced work environment
-Experience with all aspects of supervision and team building, including leadership that fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
-Strong knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion workforce strategies

-3-5 years of experience interacting with media and journalists

Successful candidates will:
-Possess excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
-Know how to tailor communication styles to effectively appeal to a broad array of entities, including program leadership and external partners, and funders
-Have strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
-Bring a positive, team-focused, and appreciative inquiry mindset
-Have a passion for working collaboratively in a shared leadership model as part of a program with the mission to advance population health and equity
-Embrace the need for timely responsiveness to requests for information and interviews from media
