Job Summary:

The University of Wisconsin-Madison's Center for Health Disparities Research (CHDR) seeks a dynamic and engaged Data Manager/Analyst to support a federally funded multi-site project examining the impact of neighborhood disadvantage on brain health outcomes (The Neighborhoods Study: Contextual Disadvantage and Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias, R01 AG070883). The successful applicant will work with Center for Health Disparities Research team members to develop and implement processes to ensure data quality, organization, and use across a large collaborative infrastructure. The Data Manager/Analyst will perform or oversee quality control of multi-site data, and participate in integrating, harmonizing, and analyzing multi-modal data sets. The incumbent will regularly interface with collaborative partners across the nation, the UW Center for Health Disparities Research, the School of Medicine and Public Health, and researchers across the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. Education:

Required
Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications:

Knowledge of one or more programming languages is required (for example Python, Matlab, R).
Prior experience working in neuroimaging, Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and/or the health disparities field is preferred.
Familiarity with human magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and/or positron emission tomography (PET), and/or human cognitive data is preferred.
