Job Summary:

The Department of Urology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) seeks a talented administrative professional to support the academic, clinical, and leadership activities of several physician faculty leaders, and to supervise five medical program assistants. The successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment, while maintaining high quality, productivity, and professionalism. The Department of Urology is part of UW SMPH and UW Health, and is a nationally recognized leader in clinical care, research, and education.

Education:

Preferred
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree in medical administration or related field are preferred.

Qualifications:

Requires experience providing administrative support to leaders, preferably in an academic medical center. Supervision experience is strongly preferred. This position requires strong written and verbal communications skills, professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Strong time management and prioritization skills, flexibility, and adaptability are essential. Knowledge of University and UW Health policies and procedures is preferred.
