RESEARCH SPECIALIST VCRGE/INS ON AGING/INST AGING Madison
The Institute on Aging is seeking a research specialist that will work closely with investigators on the MIDUS (Midlife in the United States) project. MIDUS is a national longitudinal research study that investigates the human aging process by measuring protein biomarkers expressed by the body, administering physical and psychological tests, and determining socioeconomic factors of all participants. This research position is within the Biological Core, which coordinates the shipment of human samples across multiple sites and runs immunoassays to test hormone, immune and hematological measures.

This position provides accounting management and financial support services for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The accountant will be responsible for working with the department chair and department administrator to assist with management of state funding including budget analysis, expenditure tracking and financial reporting while also providing oversight, maintenance and advising on other department funds such as the UW Foundation, 233 gift accounts, as well as 135, 136, and 150 funds.
