The Business Systems Analyst will serve a vital role within the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP), a dynamic initiative on campus. The ATP can be thought of as an umbrella program that will encompass various initiatives to ensure all are aligned in advancing the University of Wisconsin's mission by engaging staff and building an intuitive, intelligent and innovative work environment. The research enterprise at the UW will be impacted by two ATP initiatives. There will be the ERP implementation that will culminate in a cloud-based software to serve as the new finance and post-award grant administration infrastructure. In addition, there will be the Research Administration Modernization Project (RAMP) that will focus on the implementation of a modernized software platform that will serve as the new system to support pre-award, non-financial post-award, and other research administration activities. ATP is seeking to hire a Business Systems Analyst for each initiative described above (RAMP or ERP). The Business Analysis for Research Administration will be assisting ATP leadership to ensure that the results of these initiatives meet the requirements and demands of key stakeholders. The primary responsibilities will be communicating with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and making sense of these requirements in order to develop new business models and integrated tools that can increase administrative capacity to support the desired growth in sponsored programs at UW-Madison and the greater UW-System.
