We seek an Early Adolescent Health Consultant to join the Reproductive Health and Family Planning team at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS). In collaboration with the UW Population Health Institute, this position is based in the Family Health Section, Bureau of Community Health Promotion, Division of Public Health at DHS. The Early Adolescent Health Consultant functions as a statewide program expert in school age and early adolescent health. This position fills a critical role by coordinating across multiple partners and programs to develop and implement successful, evidence-based prevention and early intervention activities that will improve the health outcomes of school age youth and early adolescents.

This position will play a lead role in applied and translational research to advance health and equity policy and practice, aligned with the mission, vision, and values of the UW Population Health Institute. The incumbent will join UWPHI leadership in addressing root causes of health inequities through applied and translational research in service of the Wisconsin Idea. We seek an HIV Care Services Coordinator to join the Wisconsin HIV Care Team. This position is responsible for guiding the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of a statewide system of innovative mechanisms to link people living with HIV to client-centered, coordinated care and support services. In collaboration with the UW Population Health Institute, the HIV Care Services Coordinator will be based in the Communicable Disease Harm Reduction Section, Bureau of Communicable Diseases, Division of Public Health, Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS).
