UWPHI seeks a dynamic leader to join us as Co-Director of County Health Rankings & Roadmaps (CHR&R). CHR&R is a nationally recognized program that has been central to advancing a national conversation about health outcomes and health equity with the public, media, and a growing network of regional, state, and local community partners across the country. This role will lead and innovate with staff and partners, to advance our commitment to growing community power to improve health equity. The CHR&R program provides data, evidence, guidance, and examples to build awareness of and action around the multiple factors that influence health and supports community leaders working to improve health and increase equity. OVERDOSE DEATH RECORD ABSTRACTOR SMPH/POP HEALTH INST/PHI Madison
We seek an Overdose Death Abstracting Specialist to join the Behavioral Health Section at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS). This individual, based at DHS and in collaboration with the UW Population Health Institute, will be responsible for a wide range of abstraction activities for the State Unintentional Drug Overdose Reporting System (SUDORS). SUDORS is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) surveillance system that monitors and collects information on unintentional and undetermined drug overdose deaths in Wisconsin.
MATCH PROGRAM DIRECTOR SMPH/POP HEALTH INST/PHI Madison
The Population Health Institute (PHI) is looking for an individual with a track record of success to lead one of our key program areas, Mobilizing Action Toward Community Health (MATCH). MATCH is building innovative and evidence informed practice to advance health and racial equity. The successful candidate will bring experience leading strategic visioning, monitoring implementation of strategic priorities and engaging diverse interests in co-creating knowledge to advance collective action on root causes of population health, equity and well-being. We seek someone who brings courage, excellence, integrity, innovation, inclusion and collaboration to work every day. The MATCH Director is a member of the PHI Leadership team and collaborates to support our North Star goal: People and places have the necessary conditions to thrive.
MATCH COMMUNITY COACH SMPH/POP HEALTH INST/PHI Madison
The MATCH Community Coach provides training, coaching and technical assistance that supports public health partners, communities, and coalitions’ capacity to improve community health and advance health equity. This mission-driven position works collaboratively with a dynamic team of staff and community partners.
