EVIDENCE ANALYST - WHAT WORKS FOR HEALTH summary: The person selected for this position will join the CHR&R Evidence & Policy Analysis Team. Evaluation activities include collecting and analyzing complex research data, conducting surveys and interviews, and documenting results according to established policies and procedures for What Works for Health. The Evaluator will conduct literature reviews, prepare reports and materials, co-author publications, and disseminate information to appropriate entities through various communication mediums. Candidates must be able to maintain a high level of detail and organization in their work. CHR&R is a program in the in the Population Health Institute at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. NARRATIVE INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST summary: This is an exciting opportunity to work as a public health researcher. The Narrative Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for conducting background research, implementing narrative initiatives, and contributing to evaluation for the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps program. This position will provide technical expertise for various activities of narrative infrastructure staff and strategic communication partners. The Narrative Infrastructure Specialist conducts research and evaluation activities under the direction of the Team Leader and plays a key role in operational, outreach, and promotional activities of narrative initiatives. This position will work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to expand the reach and influence of CHR&R while strengthening the program’s narrative infrastructure capacity. CHR&R is a program in the in the Population Health Institute at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. NARRATIVE INFRASTRUCTURE TEAM LEADER summary: This is an exciting opportunity to work as a public health research project manager in a dynamic and growing organization. The Narrative Infrastructure Team Leader will be responsible for developing and managing narrative initiatives, research, and translation for the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps (CHR&R) program. This position will coordinate, manage, and oversee various activities of narrative infrastructure staff, as well as narrative and strategic communication partners. The Team Leader plans and leads operational, outreach, and research activities of narrative initiatives and serves as a subject matter expert. This position will work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to expand the reach and influence of CHR&R while strengthening the program’s narrative infrastructure capacity. COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER SUSTAINABILITY LEAD SMPH/POP HEALTH INST/PHI Madison
COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER SUSTAINABILITY LEAD summary: This position is part of the Mobilizing Action Toward Community Health (MATCH) group within the Population Health Institute. MATCH provides training, coaching and technical assistance that supports public health partners, communities and coalitions’ capacity to improve community health and advance health equity. This mission-driven position works collaboratively with a dynamic staff and community partners. MATCH is the Lead coordinating organization for the national Envision Equitable Healthy Communities (Envision) CHW Training and Technical Assistance Center. Envision is a collaboration of Community Health Workers (CHWs) and Community Health Worker allies who work together with grant and administrative support from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to elevate the role of CHWs. The Envision CHW Sustainability lead provides management and support for Communities of Practice and our Community of Transformation.
HEALTH EQUITY LEARNING COORDINATOR SMPH/POP HEALTH INST/PHI Madison
HEALTH EQUITY LEARNING COORDINATOR summary: This position will play a lead role in developing and administering health equity capacity building activities for the County Health Ranking & Roadmaps (CHR&R), a collaboration for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and the University of Wisconsin Population health Institute (UWPHI). Responsibilities will include developing a process that will support ongoing organizational assessment and capacity to contribute and lead in the field of health equity and, engaging and reviewing the existing program evaluations, audits and Institute wide strategic plan to develop a responsive operational approach, building and sustaining CHR&R internal organizational culture and capacity, leveraging external subject matter experts and building internal expertise and future leaders. This position reports to the Operations Team Leader, in the CHR&R program of the Population Health Institute.
