COLORECTAL DATABASE MANAGER summary: The Department of Surgery, Division of Colorectal Surgery is seeking an individual to develop and maintain a clinical research and outcomes tracking database. The individual will work with all faculty in the Division of Colorectal Surgery and input data related to all aspects of colorectal surgery, with an emphasis on inflammatory bowel disease and cancer. The incumbent will be expected to perform database entry and queries, review and input clinical data, contact patients, and oversee data entry and quality. In addition, the individual will be responsible for inputting and maintaining patient survey data. Using effective communication, the selected individual will collaborate with healthcare professionals on the care team to provide assistance in data collection and ensure data quality. This person may also oversee undergraduate, medical students or resident trainees working on database-related research projects.
