DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR DOIT/SYS SRVCS/ERP ADMIN Madison
The Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) group, within UW-Madison's Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is responsible for providing expert ERP System and Database Management Administration services to faculty, students, staff, and administrators throughout the UW System campuses. This position will work in a dynamic environment that is responsible for administration of highly complex database management system (DBMS) software, databases, and technology stack components including Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer platform. The database environments for which EBS is responsible are used by applications systems supporting the entire UW enterprise.
DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN DOIT/USER SVCS/DESKTOP Madison
The DoIT Departmental Support General Desktop Support team serves the administrative, academic, and research technology support needs of students, departments, and faculty/staff on the UW Madison campus. Under the general guidance of the Assistant Director of User Services- Departmental Support, this position participates on the Departmental Support General Desktop Support (GDS) team, within the Division of Information Technology (DoIT). Departmental Support technicians perform technology troubleshooting for a wide variety of technology-driven devices, services, and solutions. In a typical year, more than 70 unique departments receive support from DoIT Departmental Support.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER DOIT/AIS/WEB&MOBILE SOLUTIONS Madison
The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is looking for an experienced full-time .NET software engineer. We are looking for someone who is passionate about custom application development in a Microsoft technology stack, thrives on teamwork, and finds professional reward in delivering high impact solutions to move UW-Madison forward. While developing applications (writing code!) will be your primary role, we hire team players who enjoy developing strong, high-trust relationships directly with their customers. For example, you will solicit business requirements directly from your clients, seeking to identify creative efficiencies to underlying business processes, and designing solutions that exceed our customer’s expectations. You should have knowledge of modern techniques in object-oriented programming as well as experience with modern frameworks, libraries, tool sets, and development practices (continuous integration, version control, etc.). You’ll need exceptional communication and customer service skills as you will work alongside clients, project managers, and other developers. Aspiring leaders are preferred.
