Incumbent will also participate in the Department of Medicine, Nephrology Division journal club activities and continuing professional education activities. GENERAL NEPHROLOGIST SMPH/MEDICINE/NEPHROLOGY Madison
GENERAL NEPHROLOGIST summary: The Division of Nephrology is recruiting a General Nephrologist. They will be responsible for maintaining expertise in primary kidney disorders, as well as the management of systemic kidney dysfunction. This will include performing diagnoses, establishing health care plans, and managing patient care. Additional duties include the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as participation in additional academic and administrative endeavors.

NEPHROLOGIST - TENURE TRACK summary: The Division of Nephrology has an opening for a physician scientist. The physician scientist will be expected to engage in active collaborative research on multi-disciplinary projects, establish a research program in the area of health care disparities and/or social determinants of health in persons with kidney disease and obtain/maintain independent extramural funding.
