The Dairy Forage Research Center is located between Prairie du Sac and Merrimac. Our team effort makes it possible to milk over 360 cows 3 times a day with a total herd of around 750. We breed year round so we never have a shortage of calves to care for. On the field side we plant and harvest around 1200 acres yearly. Between the benefits of working with the calves and cows we have the added benefits associated with being a UW Madison employee. LAIM TEACHING PROFESSOR VET M/MEDICAL SCIENCES Madison
The Department of Medical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary Medicine is soliciting applications for a full-time Teaching Professor in Large Animal Internal Medicine/Food Animal Production Medicine. The successful candidate will have a joint appointment within both the Large Animal Internal (LAIM) and Food Animal Production Medicine (FAPM) sections.
