Position Summary:

The Director of Equity, Inclusivity and Innovation will lead initiatives at the Center for Healthy Minds and in collaboration with Healthy Minds Innovation to expand the impact and awareness of the work of the Center for Healthy Minds (CHM) through the involvement of more diverse populations in research, dissemination and implementation. Specifically, the Director of Equity, Inclusivity and Innovation will focus their work on contributing to healthier and more robust lives for people of color, and other marginalized people in the U.S. and elsewhere. This will involve communicating and translating scientific and scholarly knowledge into usable knowledge as well as facilitating innovative thinking to develop scalable solutions to address vital personal and public issues and needs. In addition, this position will create opportunities for collective learning and understanding both within the Center and with prospective partners.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Master's Degree and experience in education, psychology or related field required.

Ph.D. or equivalent academic credentials, preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

At least eight years of relevant scholarship and programing leadership experience required.

Preferred experience:
Academic leadership experience within the fields of transformative learning/adult education, human flourishing, knowledge mobilization/knowledge translation
Experience promoting diversity and inclusion in civil society and a higher education setting
A record of or potential for extramural grant support
Experience applying key constructs and research findings in diverse environments and organizational settings
Demonstrated experience leading and participating in significant collaboration with diverse partners
Ability to work effectively within a diverse community
Demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive work environment
Passion for the Center for Healthy Minds vision of a kinder, wiser, more compassionate world
