Position Summary:

This position is responsible for providing veterinary technical support to the WisCARES program through the School of Veterinary Medicine. This position will work primarily with canine and feline patients, with some exotic animal patients.

Requirements:

Certification as Wisconsin Veterinary Technician
Requires licensing (or the ability to obtain such licensing within 6 months) as a Wisconsin Certified Veterinary Technician. Requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Independently and physical and manual dexterity to perform specialized technical tasks.

Fluency in Spanish preferred.
Experience working with persons experiencing homelessness prefered.
