- Provide patient clinical care.
- Teach to a variety of learners, including medical students, residents and fellows. Teaching can occur within the classroom, small groups and lectures, as well as in the delivery of clinical care. - The majority of the position will be devoted to the development/maintenance of an independent research program. Protected time will be provided with an expectation that the candidate will either come with extramural funding or procure it within the first 3 years of employment

Degree and Area of Specialization:
MD or equivalent, completion of US pediatric residency and relevant fellowship
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
Completion of US pediatric residency and fellowship programs. Interest in academic medicine, involving teaching to a variety of learners is essential. Experience in an academic medical setting preferred.
License or Certificate:
WI medical licensure; BC/BE in pediatrics required
Candidates for associate or full professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the tenure track.
