Position Summary:

The Long-Term Care Quality Improvement (LTC-QI) group conducts research and creates methods to improve the quality of long-term care and other health systems through the development of information and decision support systems. Creating and maintaining website based tools for the dissemination and implementation of quality improvement measurement, data collection and information systems. Our projects have login based website components and this position supports and trains our website users and coordinates helpdesk student workers as well as providing administrative support for LTC-QI staff and researchers.

Primary responsibilities will be coordinating and training student helpdesk workers, website and user support, and clerical support for the director, researchers, academic and community project partners. (http://www.qid.wisc.edu/)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

No Degree Required

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

2+ years of clerical/administrative experience required.
Required proficiency using word processing, spreadsheet, email and internet software; experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Consistent in providing professional and courteous telephone, email and in person assistance and communication required.
Proven ability to supervise and train staff and system users preferred.

Additional Information:

Position to last until 12/31/2020. There is a possibility it may be extended if there is a need for an ongoing appointment and/or funding becomes available.
