Within an academic home of the Division of Hospital Medicine, provide medical management and care coordination to children with medical complexity through the robust interprofessional UW Health-American Family Children's Hospital Pediatric Complex Care Program, teach a variety of learners and execute research/scholarly activities.

- Provide outpatient and inpatient (consultative) clinical care and coordination to children with medical complexity enrolled in the Pediatric Complex Care Program.
- Along with other Pediatric Complex Care Program physicians, serve as a collaborating physician for the Pediatric Complex Care Program's pediatric nurse practitioners. - In rotation with the other Pediatric Complex Care Program providers, participate in after-hours call. - Contribute to the educational, quality improvement, research, and administrative activities of the Division of Hospital Medicine - Teach to a variety of learners, including medical students, residents and fellows. Teaching can occur within the classroom, small groups and lectures, as well as in the delivery of clinical care. - Carry out independent research/scholarly activity in an area of interest to the candidate and the division. These pursuits can take many forms and will often be executed in conjunction with clinical activities, but are not limited to that venue.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
MD or equivalent, completion of US pediatric residency
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
Completion of US pediatric residency is required. Experience with medical management and care coordination of children with medical complexity is preferred. Experience with health services research and quality improvement endeavors is preferred.
License or Certificate:
WI medical licensure; BC/BE in pediatrics required
