The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine & Public Health is seeking a full time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) Track.

Principal Duties: |
The candidate filling this position will demonstrate expertise and interest in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention. Clinical duties will be within the Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Section and include work at the Clinical Science Center (CSC), The American Center (TAC), and the Research Park Clinic. Duties will include interpretation of diagnostic studies, including radiographs, CT, MR, and MSK ultrasound; and image-guided procedures including therapeutic injections, biopsies, aspirations, ablations, and spine procedures. Training will be available for those procedures as needed. Participation in the teaching, research, and administrative efforts of the Section and Department are expected. Teaching responsibilities will include lectures and conferences as well as daily training of residents, fellows, and medical students. Departmental teaching assignments include medical students, residents, and fellows, both in lecture format and on clinical assignments. Academic time will be provided according to Department policy and as staffing allows.

Degree and Area of Specialization: |
MD Degree, board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology.
|
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience: |
Fellowship training in musculoskeletal preferred.
Rank at the Associate Professor (CHS) or Professor (CHS) will require experience and credentials for appointment at rank as described in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health CHS Track Appointment and Promotion Guidelines and must be reviewed by the CHS Track Promotions Committee and approved by the Dean.
