Under the general direction of the Assistant to the Chair, the Office Operations Associate supports the missions of the Department of Dermatology by coordinating several operational and ad hoc duties. In addition, the position supports the clinical and research faculty with administrative support as needed. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage competing priorities as well as the ability to work independently in dealing with the diverse elements of the complex organization of UW-SMPH.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
Experience in academic or medical administration preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, etc.) as well as Webex and GoToMeeting(or similar) required. Understanding of UW and UW Health travel and reimbursement policies and related information systems preferred.
Position will primarily be located at the Dermatology Administration office at 1 S Park. Occasional travel may be needed to UW Medical Science Center or WIMR.
Monday thru Friday. Daily schedule will normally be within UW business hours of 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Work outside these hours maybe needed occasionally.
