Position Summary:

The Accountant II performs advanced accounting duties following generally accepted accounting principles and procedures (GAAPP). The Accountant II is expected to prepare and review financial reports and assist with budgeting. Additionally, the individual will ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

- Associate degree or equivalent years of experience.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Preferred Experience:
- Experience in an academic medical setting or with providing technical financial assistance to diverse audiences with a broad range of accounting backgrounds.

Desired Attributes:
- Developed analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated available to effectively communicate.
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.

Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring eligibility for employment in the United States on or before the effective date of the appointment.
