Position Summary:

As a member of the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps team, the Web Developer will collaborate in the design, development, and maintenance of the program's extensive website, in partnership with internal and digital agency partners. This position will collaborate across a variety of teams and play a key role in bringing to life research and findings from across the CHR&R program, providing community health data to practitioners, and creating accessible and engaging digital experiences that can inspire and support community improvement efforts.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Associates Degree, plus two years' relevant experience required. Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum 2 years' relevant post-degree web development experience required.
Highly preferred:
-Experience writing and/or maintaining custom modules for Drupal 8, using best practices and coding standards
-Working knowledge of PHP, SQL, and JavaScript/JQuery
-Working familiarity with version control systems (such as git) and working with already established branching/merging standards
-Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across multiple teams with varying levels of technical expertise, including external web agency staff
-Desire to work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and excellence.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks within budget and schedule constraints

Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience. A minimum of 7 years of experience is required for an appointment at the senior level.
