Position Summary:

The Graduate Program Manager will work within the School of Pharmacy graduate programs to recruit new students and serve our matriculated students. This position will promote student success and engagement, create a welcoming and inclusive community for people from every background, create and implement policies, procedures, programs, and services. The program manager will engage with students, faculty, and staff.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

More than two years of post-degree experience working in higher education, academia and/or academic research setting. Applicants must have at least one year of successful employment experience in program coordination and at least one year of experience in student/employee support services in higher education or relevant training/career development setting.

Required Skills:
-Working expertise with Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
-Demonstrated customer service, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred skills:
-Experience working with graduate students.
-Experience with international student processes.
-Experience working within UW-Madison
-Experience working with resources (budget, other team members, campus resources) to coordinate events such as recruiting events and orientation.
