Job Summary:

This position will provide pediatric patient care, teaching to a variety of learners, and execution of research/scholarly activities. The successful applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

MD or equivalent

Qualifications:

Completion of US pediatric residency and fellowship programs. Interest in academic medicine, involving teaching to a variety of learners is essential. Experience in an academic medical setting preferred.

License/Certification:

Required
PHYS - Physician
WI medical licensure

Required
BCP - Bd Cert Pediatrics
BC/BE in pediatrics required

Additional Information:

This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.

Candidates for associate or full professor rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the tenure track.
