Job Summary:

Teach Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (AOS) 340, Physics of the Atmosphere and Ocean II, during the Spring 2022 semester. Lecturer will plan and deliver all course lectures; prepare course materials, handouts and examinations, grade exams, evaluate and grade student performance, and hold regular office hours to meet with the students.

Education:

Required
Terminal degree
Ph.D. in atmospheric and oceanic sciences

Qualifications:

At least one semester of teaching experience for an Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences class (TA experience is acceptable). Three years minimum of work experience related to atmospheric science. Applicant should be an expert in radiation, energy budget and remote sensing of the atmosphere and upper ocean.

Additional Information:

There is a possibility this position could be extended in subsequent semesters to teach the course listed on this PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
