Job Summary:

This position is a partner in local program delivery and works closely with the educators to ensure educational program delivery affiliated with Pierce County and Area 5, as well as additional support to the Pierce County office team and Area 5 Extension Director.

This position provides support for outreach programs that benefit the community, works alongside our educators to ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services for diverse audiences, acts as a multiplier of Extension educational programs, and serves as the public face of Extension.

Required:
1. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional work environments and relationships
2. Ability to effectively work with people from different cultural backgrounds, including those associated with race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, socioeconomic status, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, and other aspects of human diversity
3. Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of methods and technology

Preferred:
1. Experience with community-based outreach and education
2. Experience with project management
3. Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision
4. Experience managing multiple tasks, timelines, and schedules while maintaining high quality work
5. Experience developing partnerships with other agencies, community-based services, or organizations

Additional Information:

- The primary accountability relationship for this position is the Area Extension Director (Area #5) for supervision, compensation, benefits, and performance reviews
- This position's primary support focus is Pierce County; however, support will also be conducted over area 5
- Primary office location and support coverage will be located at the UW-Madison Division of Extension, Pierce County office located in Ellsworth, WI
- Working evenings or weekends as needed to meet educator programming needs
