Job Summary:

The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine & Public Health is seeking a fellowship trained, Board certified/Board eligible Radiologist to expand its Community Radiology division at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor on the CT (Clinician-Teacher) Track.

Join a collegial group of 26 sub-specialized radiologists, who represent the community arm of a large, internationally recognized academic Radiology department. Our group provides the main radiology services to Unity-Point Meriter Hospital. This UW Health partner hospital is a non-profit 448-bed community hospital in Madison, which provides a complete range of medical and surgical services. Additionally, the Community Radiology division provides radiology services to the adjacent 1. S. Park Clinic and three smaller community hospitals in southwestern Wisconsin, on-site and remotely. This position offers unique ease of cross collaborating on projects with the academic sections, if interested. We have a single PAC system which connects all campuses including the academic department.

The desired candidate for this position brings both a diverse radiology skillset to complement our general radiology practice, along with sub-specialized expertise. Our practice emphasizes the ideals of the ACR's Imaging 3.0 initiative, and candidates should be willing to collaborate with our technologists and providers daily.

Occasional travel to outreach hospitals would be expected. Candidates would participate in the call pool, equally based on FTE status, including weekends, and overnight in-house call (currently shared by 18 members). The candidate must be able to able to interpret all modalities including X-Ray, CT, US, MRI as well as perform basic fluoroscopic procedures (joint injections, arthrograms). Proficiency in mammography is a preference, but not required.

Applicant must be board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology.
Fellowship training is required.
Wisconsin medical license eligible
