Job Summary:

The University of Wisconsin Hip Preservation Program (HPP) is seeking a research program coordinator to assist with our clinical research studies, primarily involving patients undergoing hip surgery. The position will oversee several ongoing research studies, assist with publishing and dissemination, coordinate conferences and symposium related to the goals of the HPP, among other duties. This position requires in-person presence between UW-Madison campus and UW Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine clinics. The ideal candidate will be able to work well as part of a team and have experience working or doing research in clinical environments in order to best support the research goals of the HPP.

Education:

Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
B.S. degree in kinesiology, biomechanics, biomedical engineering, biology or similar strongly preferred.

Preferred
Master's or clinical degree (athletic trainer, physician assistant, or similar) in relevant field preferred.

Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a research environment with human subjects required.
At least two years of experience working in a clinical and/or orthopedic healthcare environment preferred.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement:

UW-Madison employees are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to January 18, 2022 or the first day of employment, whichever comes later. An individual is considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19 two weeks after receiving the single-dose vaccine or two weeks after the second dose in a two-dose vaccination series.
